The application form is available as either a Word or PDF document for you to download from the ‘How to become a Daytripper’ page. You can fill it out by hand or if you prefer the forms are designed for you to easily type the information straight onto them. Please make sure that all sections are completed in full, writing ‘N/A’ when necessary.
Section One – Contact Details:
Please fill out your contact details as clearly as possible providing as much information as you can. To speed up your application please include any leaflets or information you have about your organization. If you are a registered charity, please also supply us with your Charity Registration Number where requested.
Section Two – Details of proposed daytrip:
Please fill out your proposed destination, date of the trip and also provide a little information about the reason for the daytrip. If you have any leaflets with information about the destination, please include these.
Section Three – Funding Required:
Please take time to clearly specify how much funding is required for each aspect you have listed on the application form. It is important to back up your figures with any quotes or correspondence you have, for example; a quote from the venue or travel company. Use the notes section to detail a breakdown of all the costs applied for including individual entrance fees. If the breakdown of costs applied for is not clear this will delay the application process. Please ensure that you have researched any group discounts at your chosen destination in detail before submitting your costs. We expect you to have established the cheapest ticket prices possible and will look more favourably on applications that are clear and thoroughly organised.
Section Four – Transport & Additional Details:
Please fill this section out in full providing as many details as possible as it may affect your application. We often recommend checking with your local council whether their fleet of transportation could be hired as they tend to have very competitive prices.
Section Five – Names of those attending the trip:
Please note that this information will not be passed to any third party, and is solely for Daytrippers records. We will ensure that all personal information supplied to Daytrippers is kept confidential and held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Please clearly write in BLOCK capitals the names of each child with a disability attending the trip. We will also require each child’s age, diagnosis and the name of their key carer for the day. Where abbreviations have been used to list the child’s diagnosis, or in the case of an unusual disability, please use the notes section on the following page to clarify the information.
All non-essential adults and siblings are expected to be self funding. Please list these where requested and use the continuation page at the back of the application form if necessary.
Section Six – Summary:
Please use this section to summarise the details of those attending your trip. Take the time to fill this out accurately and in full as the information you provide here is vital in the application process. The numbers provided here must match up to those specified in earlier sections.

Please ensure that you read through the terms and conditions thoroughly and sign where requested to show your agreement prior to submitting an application to Daytrippers. Applications will not be considered if this section is unsigned.
