There is no strict age limit but the charity was set up to assist children from 5-18 years old. Funding of all trips is agreed in advance and all parties will be reimbursed after the event subject to providing testimonials/ receipts/ invoice for all approved expenses incurred.
Although we do not get directly involved with organizing the trips we are full of ideas and more than happy to discuss them with you before you apply. Daytrippers will aim to, where funding is available, provide 100% of the costs for all the children and usually one essential carer. Non-essential adults and siblings will be expected to be self-funded. If we cannot contribute the full amount requested then we will always consider making a contribution towards the daytrip to try and ensure it can still go ahead.
