Daytrippers co-sponsored London Zoo’s Special Childrens Day this September with Barclays Bank, helping make it bigger and better than ever before. Running over an entire weekend, with increased specialist facilities and helpers, as well as free talks thoroughout the day with British Sign Language interpreters and unique ‘Touch Tours’, this event is perfect for children with special needs and their families. This year we had a live band, a unique discovery zone ideal for Autistic children with chill out room, exclusive access to a private bouncy castle, discounts throughout the zoo and a free ride on the carousel for every child. A huge congratulations goes out to Ali and Aric who were the lucky winners of our animal feed experience, both getting a once in a life time chance to feed the Giraffes in front of watching crowds.
CONGRATULATIONS to our quiz prize winners Lee & Carlos who won respectively an iPod Shuffle and a return trip to the Zoo with a hands on experience. The both submitted great photos from the day – well done!
