Venue: The Watermans Theatre, Brentford

For the second year in a row Daytrippers hosted our Oscar Themed Film Premiere at The Waterman’s Theatre in Brentford. Films were submitted by Belvue and John Chilton School, and the audience was bumped up to full capacity with both Spring Hallow School and Woodfield Sports College coming along to watch. With facepainting, glitter tattoos, and free popcorn for all the 152 children that attended the atmosphere was buzzing even before the show started.

As a build up to the main event, the award winning Jason Maverick performed a mixture of street entertainment including contact and glow juggling, whilst being introduced by the amazing presenter James Mitchell. Then everyone sat back to enjoy the showreel which contained some of the strongest films we have ever had from the children. Oscars and certificates were swiftly awarded to the lucky few chosen for their talents and effort.
